Each ball of Cairo Mondial weighs 100 grams and measures 180 metres. It is recommended for use with 3-3.5mm crochet and knitting needles. For a sample size of 10 x 10 cm, it is suggested to knit 18 stitches x 7 rows using a 3mm crochet hook.

Cairo Mondial is machine washable at temperatures up to 30 °C. It should not be bleached and is suitable for dry cleaning with perchloroethylene or tetrachloroethene. Tumble drying and ironing are not recommended. When drying creations made with Cairo Mondial, it is best to lay them horizontally.
